Wood Flooring
Collections

Seven collections, one standard. 130 engineered oak, Douglas fir, parquet and reclaimed floors, plus 29 bespoke colours, all made from real timber for the way homes are actually lived in. From the calm grain of Signature and the clean lines of Prime Grade to classic Timeless oak and floors drawn to your own specification, every collection is finished properly and fitted by our own team. The difference between them is character, not quality.

Signature Collection

Refined Grain

Our most considered floors: wide European oak boards chosen for calm, even grain and a quiet elegance that settles into a room rather than competing with it. Engineered for enduring stability underfoot and finished to feel honest and warm — the floor you stop noticing, because it simply feels right.

  • 62 floors
  • Plank, herringbone & chevron
  • 14, 15 & 20mm
  • Oiled or lacquered

Prime Grade Collection

Pure Clarity

Our highest grade of oak. Every board is selected for minimal knots, very few natural blemishes and a consistent colour and grain, so the floor reads as one calm, even surface. Engineered for lasting stability and finished with care — the choice for interiors where every line should be clean.

  • 17 floors
  • Prime grade oak
  • Plank, herringbone & chevron
  • 14mm boards

Timeless Line

Classic, Built to Last

Classic European oak in honest tones and proportions that never date. Planks, herringbone and hand-distressed boards in brushed, oiled and lacquered finishes — including 20mm boards — for anyone who simply wants a really good oak floor, chosen well and fitted properly.

  • 30 floors
  • Classic grade oak
  • Plank & herringbone
  • 14 & 20mm

Design Collection

Pattern as Architecture

Where the floor becomes the architecture. Trellis, hexagon, Cairo and woven parquet in oak and walnut, alongside herringbone and chevron, all set out with exacting precision so the geometry leads the eye. Made to order, and laid by our own team.

Douglas Fir Collection

British Made

Engineered Douglas fir made in Britain, in 260mm boards up to three metres long. A straight, even grain and generous board size give larger rooms a calm, open feel — available natural or in four prefinished tones, from pale Bedgebury Blonde to deep Kielder Ember.

  • 5 floors
  • British-made fir
  • 260mm boards
  • Up to 3m long

Reclaimed Collection

Two Centuries

Oak with a past — often two centuries of it. Timber rescued from old buildings and given another life underfoot, every board carrying the marks, tone and texture of its first century. Warm, characterful, and quietly impossible to imitate with anything new. History you can walk across.

  • 8 floors
  • Reclaimed oak
  • Plank, herringbone & basket weave

Bespoke Collection

Endless Combinations

Custom engineered oak flooring made entirely to order — any width, any tone, any pattern, in endless combinations. Choose herringbone, chevron, wide plank or basket weave, then a colour matched to your home. When nothing off the shelf will do, we draw the floor around you.

By pattern & specification

Herringbone, chevron, parquet or a wide plank, then the thickness and finish to suit your subfloor and the way you live.

Choosing between the collections

Start with the look. For a calm, even floor with very few knots, choose Prime Grade. For natural knots and the warmth of traditional oak, look at Timeless and Signature. Signature also covers rustic and antique grades for bolder character, and wider boards up to 260mm.

Then the pattern. Planks suit most rooms and make open-plan spaces feel larger. Oak herringbone and chevron add movement to hallways and period rooms, while the Design Collection takes parquet further with geometric patterns in oak and walnut.

Something different. Douglas Fir gives long, wide British-made boards with a softer, Scandinavian feel. Reclaimed oak brings genuine age and patina. If you have a colour in mind that no standard floor matches, Bespoke offers 29 made-to-order colours.

Finally, the practical side. Engineered boards are stable over concrete subfloors and underfloor heating. A thicker wear layer can be sanded more times, and the choice between oiled and lacquered finishes comes down to look and upkeep.

questions

The questions we are asked most when choosing between our ranges.

Ask Us Anything →
What is the difference between your wood flooring collections?
Character, not quality. Signature is our broadest range of European oak, from calm select grade to antique. Prime Grade is the cleanest oak with minimal knots. Timeless is classic grade oak with natural knots. Design is geometric parquet, Douglas Fir is British-made wide plank fir, Reclaimed Collection is salvaged oak with real patina, and Bespoke lets you choose from 29 colours.
Which collection should I choose for a herringbone floor?
Herringbone is available in Signature, Prime Grade, Timeless and Reclaimed. Choose Prime Grade for a clean, even look, Timeless or Signature for natural knots and character, and Reclaimed for an aged floor. See all patterns on our oak herringbone flooring page.
Can the engineered collections go over underfloor heating?
Yes. Our engineered oak floors are suitable for underfloor heating when fitted to the manufacturer's guidance, which includes surface temperature limits. Our underfloor heating guide covers thickness, fitting method and temperatures.
What is the difference between oak grades?
Grade describes how many knots and how much colour variation a board has. Prime is the cleanest, select and classic allow more natural character, and rustic and antique show bold knots and filled cracks. Our oak flooring grades guide shows each one.
Can I order samples from every collection?
Yes. Free samples from any collection are posted anywhere in the UK, so you can see the colour and grain in your own light before you decide. Order free samples.
Do you supply and fit?
Yes. We supply floors throughout the UK, and our own fitting team, who have worked with us for over 11 years, can fit, finish and look after the floor.
