Natural Light Honey Plank is a genuinely reclaimed European oak plank floor, supplied at Various widths · 20mm thick in reclaimed grade, carrying the patina and marks of age. In tone it reads as a soft, pale Nordic oak tone.

The natural oiled finish is easy to live with and can be refreshed or spot-repaired in place rather than fully re-sanded. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid plank by plank by our own installation team across London and the South East.

Rooms change around a floor like Natural Light Honey Plank — Reclaimed Oak; it is the one surface every plan, paint chart and furniture order eventually answers to. The surface carries its years lightly: worn smooth where hands and feet have been, textured where they have not.

This is salvaged, not styled — the nail holes, patina and uneven tone are decades old and arrive with the boards. Choose the format for the architecture: reclaimed oak, hand-graded board by board gives period rooms the rhythm they were built around.

Finish & everyday care What ages a floor is rarely the oak — it is the surface. The aged and sealed finish here is picked for the long game. An oiled surface is the most forgiving to live with: scuffs and small marks can be spot-repaired with maintenance oil in the affected area, without sanding the whole floor.

A wipe with a wood-floor soap and an occasional re-oil in busy rooms keeps it looking fed. Rated for underfloor heating and unbothered by central heating’s dry months, it holds flat where solid boards would move.

Where it works — and what to do next It suits kitchens, living rooms and open-plan spaces; for bathrooms and utility rooms, talk to us first about the right approach. If the appeal is the age itself, see our reclaimed wood flooring in London page for how we source and grade these boards. You will find it in the Reclaimed Collection.

Worth comparing before you decide: Rustic Oak Plank — Warm Natural is its nearest neighbour in tone, while Warm Rustic Herringbone — Reclaimed Oak shows how far the Reclaimed Collection can travel.
