1. Survey and moisture checkWe measure every room and moisture-test the subfloor before anything is ordered. Where a screed or slab needs damp proofing, that comes first.
2. Subfloor preparationWe level and repair the subfloor and add a damp-proof membrane or primer where needed. The flooring arrives on day one, so it settles into the room while we prepare.
3. The right fitting methodThe method depends on the subfloor. We glue down over concrete and underfloor heating, use a floating installation over the right underlay where that suits, and secret-nail onto timber. Herringbone and parquet blocks are always glued down.
4. Skirting, trims and thresholdsWe finish the edges properly: matching skirting boards, door thresholds, trims and stair nosings, so nothing is left for another trade.
5. AftercareEvery installation carries our seasonal warranty. It runs for 12 months, so we see your floor through a full year of heating and humidity.
