Untamed Grain Oak Engineered Wood Flooring

Supplied at 14mm × 190mm × 1900mm, Untamed Grain Oak is an engineered American oak floor in classic grade. In tone it reads as a balanced natural oak tone. The with sawn mark finish sets its character underfoot. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid board by board by our own installation team across London and the South East, and supplied throughout the UK.

The 190mm plank format is the quiet decision here — it opens smaller rooms and settles larger ones. Classic grade sits in the middle of the tree's character — some knots and movement, but measured, so the floor feels natural without shouting.

The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the with sawn mark treatment sets how Untamed Grain Oak handles daily life. A lacquered surface seals the timber, so day-to-day care is simply a vacuum and a damp — never wet — mop with a pH-neutral wood cleaner.

It stands up well to real family life; deeper wear in later years is dealt with by re-finishing rather than patching. Underfloor heating is no obstacle — the boards are rated for it and hold their shape as the seasons turn.

Rooms it suits, and the next step We fit it most often through living spaces, kitchens and hallways — the rooms that have to look good under real use. See more on our wide plank flooring in London page. It belongs to the Signature Collection. If you are shortlisting, put Distressed Moonstone Grey and Walnut beside it for comparison.

Before anything is ordered, see it at home — a free sample of Untamed Grain Oak is the reliable test.
