Wood Flooring in Shenley

Floors for Shenley Properties

Shenley has cottages and period houses in the old village, and the family homes built on the former hospital site at Porters Park. We supply and fit wood flooring across Shenley (WD7) and nearby Radlett, Borehamwood, London Colney, Elstree and St Albans, and post free samples before any visit.

The newer houses have concrete or screeded floors throughout, which makes a glued engineered floor straightforward and suits underfloor heating.

Oak plank in light and natural tones is the practical choice for these family houses. Stocked floors are typically two to three weeks from order; bespoke colours take longer, and we confirm the lead time when we quote.

Common Questions

Do you cover Shenley?

Yes. We carry out consultations across Shenley and the wider Hertfordshire area. Our own installation team handles every job — no subcontractors. We respond to all enquiries within one working day.

Is the floor compatible with underfloor heating?

Engineered oak and underfloor heating pair naturally, and that holds across Shenley. We size the boards at 14–18mm so heat moves through them efficiently. Solid wood is the one thing we rule out, and we confirm every spec in writing before fitting.

Can you restore an existing floor in Shenley?

Yes. In Shenley we handle Victorian pine, Edwardian oak, parquet and engineered boards alike. Pine, oak, parquet and engineered boards all fall within the service. The home visit includes a board assessment and an honest call on what is worth doing.

Hertfordshire Coverage

Consultations run throughout Shenley as part of our London and South East coverage.
