Medium Brown Rustic Herringbone Reclaimed Victorian Oak Blocks
Medium Brown Rustic Herringbone is reclaimed Victorian oak in a warm mid-brown with golden highlights and plenty of knots, cut into 70 × 350mm blocks. It is lighter than our deep brown herringbone and livelier, with more colour variation between blocks. It suits period kitchens, hallways and living rooms, and the wax oil finish can be refreshed in patches.
The wax oiled finish is easy to live with and can be refreshed or spot-repaired in place rather than fully re-sanded. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is set into a herringbone pattern by our own installation team across London and the South East, and supplied throughout the UK.
On paper Medium Brown Rustic Herringbone — Reclaimed Oak is a specification. In a room, it sets the temperature of everything around it. Underfoot it has the density and quiet that only old-growth oak carries. This is left rustic on purpose: open knots and mineral marks stay in, and the floor is livelier for it. As reclaimed oak, hand-graded board by board, it sets a rhythm underfoot that plain planks never quite manage.
