Character Warm Rustic Herringbone is reclaimed Victorian oak cut into 70 × 350mm blocks, the size of traditional English parquet, in a warm mid-brown with open cracks, knots and the marks of age. Laid in herringbone it looks like an original parquet floor that has been carefully restored. It suits Victorian and Edwardian hallways, reception rooms and kitchens, and is protected with a hardwax oil.

Hardwax oil protects Character Warm Rustic Herringbone while keeping the grain visible; scuffed areas are re-coated without sanding the whole floor. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is set into a herringbone pattern by our own installation team across London and the South East, and supplied throughout the UK.

Clean with a wood-floor soap and re-oil high-traffic zones when they start to look thirsty. It is suitable over underfloor heating, and stable through the seasonal swings that trouble ordinary solid timber.
