Vintage Smoked White Oak is an engineered European oak plank floor, cut at 14mm × 190mm × 1900mm and graded antique. In tone it reads as a pale, light-filled oak that keeps rooms bright and airy. The vintage smoked white oiled finish sets its character underfoot. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid board by board by our own installation team across London and the South East.
At 190mm wide, the boards show the timber in generous, unhurried lengths. Antique grading leans into the timber's history — knots, shakes and colour play that make the floor read as if it has been down for decades.
The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the vintage smoked white oiled treatment sets how Vintage Smoked White Oak handles daily life. An oiled surface feeds the timber rather than coating it, so the grain stays open to the touch; maintenance is an occasional re-oil in the areas that work hardest.
Engineered construction keeps the boards stable through central heating and seasonal swings, and the wear layer is thick enough to be re-finished when, years from now, it has earned it.
Rooms it suits, and the next step We fit it most often through living spaces, kitchens and hallways — the rooms that have to look good under real use. See more on our wide plank flooring in London page. It belongs to the Signature Collection. If you are shortlisting, put Untamed Grain Oak and Twilight Smoked Oak beside it for comparison.
Before anything is ordered, see it at home — a free sample of Vintage Smoked White Oak is the reliable test.
