Antique Golden 14mm Engineered Oak Plank, 190mm wide

Antique Golden is the brighter sibling of our aged oaks: a honey-gold tone over an antique-grade board, so knots, checks and natural colour changes are part of the look. The hard wax oil keeps the surface matt and easy to touch up, which matters on a floor meant to age gracefully. Lay it through a cottage, a converted barn or a kitchen-diner with exposed beams and it looks as though it came with the building. Antique Golden is available fitted by our own team or delivered supply-only throughout the UK, and it is suitable for use over underfloor heating.

Each board of this floor measures 190mm × 1900mm, about 0.36 m², so a 20 m² room takes roughly 56 boards before wastage. It is graded antique, so the boards carry heavy natural character and look established from the first day.

The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the antique golden hard wax oiled treatment sets how Antique Golden handles daily life. The hardwax oil on this floor combines an oiled appearance with more day-to-day resistance, and it can be spot-repaired.

It is built for daily life; years on, wear is dealt with by re-finishing, not replacing. Antique Golden is suitable for underfloor heating and stays stable as the heating cycles through the year.

Rooms it suits, and the next step Antique Golden suits living rooms, kitchens and hallways, the rooms that take the most daily use. If you are shortlisting, put Distressed Driftwood Grey and Satin Oak beside it for comparison.
