This Invisible Natural Oak is a 15mm board, 220mm wide and 2.2 metres long, with an invisible lacquer that protects the oak without adding yellowing or sheen. It is cleaner than the rustic 14mm version, with fewer knots, so large rooms look calm and bright. Choose it for open-plan kitchens and contemporary extensions where you want the look of raw oak with an easy-clean surface. Like every engineered floor we sell, Invisible Natural Oak can go over underfloor heating, and our own installation team fits it in London and the surrounding counties. An extra-wide plank, product code LN189.
Boards of this floor are 220mm wide and 2.2 m long, which works out at about 2.1 boards per square metre. The classic grading of this floor sits between prime and rustic, with moderate knots and natural colour variation.
The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the invisible lacquered treatment sets how Invisible Natural Oak handles daily life. Lacquer gives this floor a sealed, low-maintenance surface that needs no re-oiling.
It is built as a 15mm engineered board: 4mm of real oak bonded to a stable core that holds flat through changes in heat and humidity.
Rooms it suits, and the next step Invisible Natural Oak works through open-plan kitchen and living areas, and carries on into a hallway without a threshold where the levels allow. There is more on fitting and layout for Invisible Natural Oak on our wide plank flooring in London page. It sits within the Signature Collection.
