Prism Walnut is an engineered walnut parquet laid as interlocking angled blocks that fold into one another like a set of prisms, so the floor seems to shift as you walk across it. The variation in the walnut does much of the work here: each block turns the grain a different way, and the pattern reads almost three-dimensional in raking light.
The specification Prism Walnut is a 15mm engineered floor with a 4mm walnut wear layer, supplied as identical pre-cut pieces in a uv lacquered finish. It arrives in stock shortly; order a sample now to see it first. Engineered construction keeps the real walnut surface on a stable core, which lets a pattern this precise run across large rooms and over underfloor heating without the movement of solid parquet.
Pattern is a fitting discipline Geometric floors are decided at setting-out: where the pattern starts, how it meets the walls and where it breaks at thresholds. Our own team plans and lays every one. See more on our parquet flooring page, and compare it with Trellis Oak and Lattice Walnut from the same collection.
Before anything is ordered, see it at home. A free sample of Prism Walnut is the reliable test.
