Invisible Natural Oak is an engineered European oak floor, supplied at 14mm × 150mm × 600mm in prime grade. In tone it reads as a true natural oak tone — the timber as it wants to be seen. The invisible lacquered finish sets its character underfoot. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid board by board by our own installation team across London and the South East.

Herringbone rewards patience in the laying, and these 150mm blocks are cut for exactly that — crisp points, tight joints, a floor with rhythm. Prime grade means the cleanest cut of the tree — minimal knots, gentle grain, a calm and consistent surface board after board.

The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the invisible lacquered treatment sets how Invisible Natural Oak handles daily life. A lacquered surface seals the timber, so day-to-day care is simply a vacuum and a damp — never wet — mop with a pH-neutral wood cleaner.

Engineered construction keeps the boards stable through central heating and seasonal swings, and the wear layer is thick enough to be re-finished when, years from now, it has earned it.

Rooms it suits, and the next step We fit it most often through hallways, reception rooms and kitchens — anywhere the pattern can run and be seen. See more on our herringbone flooring in London page. It belongs to the Prime Grade Collection. If you are shortlisting, put Soft White Oak and Invisible Natural Oak beside it for comparison.

Before anything is ordered, see it at home — a free sample of Invisible Natural Oak is the reliable test.
