Golden Oak Engineered Wood Flooring

Golden Oak is an engineered European oak plank floor, cut at 14mm × 220mm × 2200mm and graded classic. In tone it reads as a warm golden oak that brings light and honeyed depth to a room. The b&matt lacquered finish sets its character underfoot. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid board by board by our own installation team across London and the South East, and supplied throughout the UK.

At 220mm wide, the boards show the timber in generous, unhurried lengths. Classic grade sits in the middle of the tree's character — some knots and movement, but measured, so the floor feels natural without shouting.

The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the b&matt lacquered treatment sets how Golden Oak handles daily life. A lacquered surface seals the timber, so day-to-day care is simply a vacuum and a damp — never wet — mop with a pH-neutral wood cleaner.

Engineered construction keeps the boards stable through central heating and seasonal swings, and the wear layer is thick enough to be re-finished when, years from now, it has earned it.

Rooms it suits, and the next step We fit it most often through living spaces, kitchens and hallways — the rooms that have to look good under real use. See more on our wide plank flooring in London page. It belongs to the Signature Collection. If you are shortlisting, put Sandy Grey Oak and Walnut beside it for comparison.

Before anything is ordered, see it at home — a free sample of Golden Oak is the reliable test.
