Supplied at 14mm × 90mm × 400mm, Arden Sunrise is an engineered European oak floor in classic grade. In tone it reads as a warm golden oak that brings light and honeyed depth to a room. The brushed & UV lacquered finish sets its character underfoot. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid board by board by our own installation team across London and the South East.
Herringbone rewards patience in the laying, and these 90mm blocks are cut for exactly that — crisp points, tight joints, a floor with rhythm. Classic grade sits in the middle of the tree's character — some knots and movement, but measured, so the floor feels natural without shouting.
The finish, and living with it A floor is its finish as much as its tone: here the brushed & UV lacquered treatment sets how Arden Sunrise handles daily life. A lacquered surface seals the timber, so day-to-day care is simply a vacuum and a damp — never wet — mop with a pH-neutral wood cleaner.
Engineered construction keeps the boards stable through central heating and seasonal swings, and the wear layer is thick enough to be re-finished when, years from now, it has earned it.
Rooms it suits, and the next step We fit it most often through hallways, reception rooms and kitchens — anywhere the pattern can run and be seen. See more on our herringbone flooring in London page. It belongs to the Timeless Line. If you are shortlisting, put Arden Riviera and Delamere Heritage beside it for comparison.
Before anything is ordered, see it at home — a free sample of Arden Sunrise is the reliable test.
