American Oak Afternoon Haze is an engineered European oak floor, supplied at 14mm × 190mm × 1900mm in prime grade, for a tighter, more uniform look. In tone it reads as a characterful oak tone with natural movement and grain variation. The sawn mark, lacquered finish is hard-wearing and low-maintenance, well suited to busy homes. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid plank by plank by our own installation team across London and the South East.

American Oak Afternoon Haze is the kind of floor you choose by standing on it, not by scrolling past it. Underfoot, the sawn marks keep an honest, workshop texture in the surface. This is a balanced grade with a natural, believable spread of character. The format — 190mm wide planks — stretches rooms and suits open-plan spaces.

Finish & everyday care The natural-finished finish is doing quiet work here: protection first, but tuned so the oak still looks like oak. An oiled surface is the most forgiving to live with: scuffs and small marks can be spot-repaired with maintenance oil in the affected area, without sanding the whole floor.

A wipe with a wood-floor soap and an occasional re-oil in busy rooms keeps it looking fed. It is suitable over underfloor heating, and stable through the seasonal swings that trouble ordinary solid timber.
