Driftwood Oak is a weathered driftwood grey with a faint pink undertone that keeps it from turning flat or cold.
It suits coastal and pared-back interiors, and it is forgiving in rooms with mixed light where a pure grey can look dull by late afternoon. Whether you prefer the knots and movement of Rustic or the restraint of Prime, the tone holds true across every grade.
Driftwood Oak is supplied as a bespoke engineered European oak floor, made to order in wide-plank widths up to 300mm and as herringbone blocks. Every board is rated for underfloor heating, backed by a 25-year structural warranty, and made in Britain from FSC- and PEFC-certified timber. Order free swatch samples to see Driftwood Oak in your own light before you commit. Each board is built on a dimensionally stable multi-ply core beneath a thick European-oak wear layer, so the floor stays flat over heated subfloors and can be sanded and refinished in years to come.
Because Driftwood Oak is a bespoke colour, the finish is yours to specify as well — brushed, oiled or matt-lacquered, each giving a different level of sheen and texture underfoot. The greying is worked into the grain rather than laid over it, so the floor keeps its timber character. We can also fine-tune the depth of tone to match an existing floor, a piece of furniture or a specific reference, and we finish on site where needed so the final colour reads correctly in your own light. To get started, order a free sample or book a home visit and we'll bring the range to you.
