Hand Distressed Meadow Engineered Wood Flooring

Hand Distressed Meadow is an engineered European oak plank floor, cut at 20mm × 200mm × 2200mm and graded classic. In tone it reads as a true natural oak tone — the timber as it wants to be seen. The heavy brushed, hardwax oiled, distressed slump filled & handworked finish sets its character underfoot. Suitable for underfloor heating, it is laid board by board by our own installation team across London and the South East.

At 200mm wide, the boards show the timber in generous, unhurried lengths. Classic grade sits in the middle of the tree's character — some knots and movement, but measured, so the floor feels natural without shouting.

Hardwax oil gives the warmth of an oiled floor with tougher day-to-day resistance; worn areas can be refreshed locally without sanding the whole room.

Engineered construction keeps the boards stable through central heating and seasonal swings, and the wear layer is thick enough to be re-finished when, years from now, it has earned it.
