Pick up to three floors from the collections above — engineered oak planks, herringbone, reclaimed boards or any of our bespoke colours. We cut a generous swatch of each from real production boards, not printed cards, and post them first class to any UK address. Samples are free, and there is no obligation of any kind.
Oak changes with light. A floor that looks pale grey on a screen can read warm taupe by a north-facing window and honey-gold under evening lamps. Living with a swatch for a few days — against your skirting, your kitchen fronts, your paint — is the only reliable way to choose. It is also worth ordering neighbouring tones together: the difference between two finishes is often invisible online and obvious in hand.
Once you have a favourite, you can ask us for a fitted quotation, or visit the Rickmansworth showroom to walk on full boards. Most customers go from first sample to a confirmed order within two to three weeks — entirely at their own pace.
How many can I order? Up to three per household — enough to settle a shortlist without the clutter.
How fast do they arrive? Swatches go out first class, usually the same or next working day, to any UK address.
Is there really no catch? None. No charge, no card details, no sales calls — just a follow-up email in case you want fitted pricing on a favourite.
